GST is not our money, so we do not pay commission on it. The table shows the all-in price your friend pays, the net plan value after 18% GST, and your 30%. These are today's published prices, not a promotional rate.

Worked example
Two friends buy Pro. Each pays ₹1,799 all-in, which is ₹1,525 before GST. You earn ₹458 per friend, so ₹916 in total. That is more than half the price of your own Pro pack, from two purchases you did not have to make.

The rules
Short enough to read before you forward.
The database enforces these rules, not a support agent's memory. If a rule here and the app disagree, tell us and we will fix one of them.
Read the referral terms- Any verified WhileHired account holder aged 18 or over, once they have a code in the app.
- A new customer who has not made a paid purchase before. Your code must be applied before their first pack, and their email must be verified.
- 30% of net plan value on every purchase the referred customer makes in the 3 months after they apply your code. Net means the plan price excluding 18% GST.
- 180 bonus minutes (3 hours) when they buy their first paid plan. The bonus never expires. Until they pay, they keep the standard 30-minutes-a-day allowance.
- One code per account, one referrer per customer. No self-referral, no second code on the same account, no attribution after a paid purchase.
- Commission starts as pending, moves to approved after the purchase clears its refund window, then is paid in Indian rupees to the payout details in your account.
- If a purchase is refunded, the commission on it is reversed. Refunded, fraudulent or charged-back purchases earn nothing.
- Referral earnings are income in your hands. We deduct tax at source where the law requires it and may ask for your PAN before payout. Fake accounts, self-purchases or bulk spam void the commission.

How much can I actually earn?
30% of net plan value, for 3 months from the day your friend applies your code. If two friends each buy Pro at ₹1,799, you earn ₹916.
There is no cap and no monthly target. We also do not promise a number, because it depends on whether your friends buy.
Does my friend have to pay to get the 3 hours?
Yes. The code reserves the 180 bonus minutes, and they are added when your friend buys their first paid plan. Until then they get the standard 30 minutes a day, free, like everyone else.
If they never buy, they keep the daily allowance and you earn nothing. The bonus is a reason to upgrade, not a second free trial.
When is the commission paid?
A commission is recorded as pending when the purchase is confirmed. It becomes approved after the refund window closes, then paid in INR.
The app shows all three totals, so you are never guessing which stage your money is at. If the purchase is refunded, the commission is marked reversed.
Can my friend apply my code after buying?
No. Codes are for new customers before their first paid purchase. This stops a discount being applied to a purchase that already happened.
If they bought first, they can still share their own code with someone else.
Can I use my own code or send it twice?
No. Self-referral is blocked in the database, and one account can only ever be attributed to one referrer.
Accounts created to recycle codes or simulate purchases are fraud. We reverse the commission and may close the account.
Do the bonus hours expire?
No. Bonus minutes sit in the same ledger as paid minutes and stay there until they are used.
They are granted once, on the first paid purchase. The daily free allowance is separate and resets every day; the bonus is not taken back when a day ends.
