Before you install
- Read the privacy note — it is short and specific about audio.
- Check whether your prospective employer permits assistance tools. That is your call, not ours to hide.
- Have one real question ready. The first run is a calibration, not a demo.
- Do not install on a work laptop you do not administer.
Ten minutes end to end, including the stealth test.
Requirements
What it needs to run honestly.
If a machine does not meet these, the app says so at start instead of degrading quietly mid-interview.

First run
Five steps, ten minutes.
Step five is not optional. It is the only way to know that Veil works on your machine.

Run the Windows installer. It is code-signed, so your system shows WhileHired Technologies as the publisher.

Sign in, verify your email, and your free minutes are ready. No card, nothing to cancel.

Add your Brief: the resume you sent and the job description you applied to.

Press Begin on the Cue and speak a question out loud. A glance line should arrive in about a second.

Open Teams, Meet or Zoom, share your screen and confirm the Cue is absent from the preview. Every release is tested this way before it ships.
Not supported
Not shipped yet. We will say so.
- Not validated. It may install; we will not claim it works.
- In validation. There is no macOS download yet. We will publish one only after the capture matrix passes on real hardware, and we will state exactly which capture tools the Cue is excluded from.
- Planned for the current app. It ships only when screen-capture exclusion is verified on the platform, so no date is claimed here.
- Planned as companion apps, not ports. A phone has no window-level capture exclusion to offer, so their scope will be narrower and honest about that.
